PN Remediation is designed to help students apply the nursing process and essential skills to clients experiencing health status alterations. The course focuses on reviewing the standard nursing program curricula, including universal principles of nursing care management, as well as legal and ethical issues. The curriculum covers both theoretical instruction and clinical experience in areas such as medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, geriatric, and psychiatric nursing. Students will gain hands-on clinical training in various settings, including but not limited to acute care, long-term care, and community health environments.
Our remediation course is designed to meet the Florida Board of Nursing 464.019 Remediation Education Program requirements. All applicants must meet state remediation guidelines, including providing a letter from the Board of Nursing requiring remediation. This comprehensive program equips students with the knowledge and practical experience necessary to meet state standards and advance their nursing careers.

Clinical Requirement: The student is responsible for all fees.
A Board of Nursing recommendation for a Remediation course is required for enrollment in the clinical portion of the course. This recommendation must be obtained by applicants who are mandated by the Board of Nursing to complete remediation. However, an authorization letter is not required to begin the theory portion of the remedial course. The clinical component can only be started once the recommendation has been provided, ensuring that all Board of Nursing guidelines are followed.
Students are responsible for submitting all documents at the start of the program. Students will have to complete the following for Castlebranch:
➢ Drug testing
➢ Criminal Background Check with no negative findings
➢ Negative PPD test (TB or chest x-ray)
➢ Flu Shot (if during season)
➢ Able to stand for long periods of time
➢ Able to lift up to 50lbs
➢ Able to meet the physical demands of the job role
➢ COVID vaccine proof or weekly testing
➢ TB/ Chest XRay
➢ Students will receive one Black Polo and badge for clinical
➢ Required Black Scrub bottoms
