Medication Technician Annual Renewal
The Medication Technician Annual Renewal Course offered by Nursing Education Training Center (NETC™ Health) is designed to provide essential continuing education for unlicensed personnel assisting with medication administration in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) and home care settings throughout Florida.
This course reinforces safe medication practices, legal responsibilities, and proper documentation in accordance with guidelines established by the Agency for Health Care Administration. Participants will review the 6 Rights of Medication Administration, infection control standards, medication error prevention, and the safe handling of high-risk medications.
In Florida, Medication Technicians are not licensed by the state but must maintain ongoing competency and annual training as required by facility policies and regulatory expectations.
